Armour plates and armour plate constructions

Combined coating process with high-alloyed cored wire electrode and specially adapted alloy powder, which is fed externally to the process.

Cored wire electrodes from our own production are used as standard in our production. This is particularly reflected in the low production costs, Flexibility and a high alloy variety.

The focus of our wear plate production is always on our customers and their individual requirements. All specifications are only standards. We are happy to manufacture according to your specifications.

Based on customer drawings, we are also able to offer complete wear plate constructions ready for installation.

Standard selection of carrier materials:
S235JRG2, S355J2G3, 16 Mo3/15Mo3, 13CrMo4-5, 13CrMo4-4

  • high Fe-C-Cr alloyed surfacing (alloyed with special carbides if required)
  • Low welding parameters possible, since high current density at the filler wire
  • Homogenous and reproducible overlay
  • Disadvantage: lower primary carbide content because of dilution

π = Pi = Powder interspersed
  • high Fe-C-Cr alloyed surfacing (alloyed with special carbides if required) + alloy powder, specially dosed
  • slightly higher welding parameters possible
  • lower dilution with base material due to cooling effects of additional alloying powder
  • high content of primary carbides throughout the entire cross-section of the fusion zone
  • good connection with substrate material due to good controllable melting bath
