Corthal® 200 K Cored Wires

Is a high-alloy, slag-bearing flux cored electrode. The austenitic weld metal is rust resistant, work hardening, amagnetic as well as heat and scale resistant up to 850°C. This alloy is particularly suitable for ductile interlayers before hardfacing and, due to the high elongation (approx. 40%), also for joint welding of steels that are difficult to weld (e.g. manganese-hard steel).

The welding wires are used for impact bars, rollers, rails, crushers, as a buffer layer of hard overlays, as a joint welding on Mn hard shells...

The degree of hardness is 180 - 200 HB (hardened 400 HB).

Corthal® 240 K Cored Wires

Is a slag-bearing flux cored electrode for surfacing on parts made of manganese high-carbon steel that are mainly subjected to impact and shock-type wear stresses. The austenitic weld metal with high work hardening ability has high toughness and crack resistance.

The welding wires are used for impact bars, hammers crusher jaws, buffer layers, crusher rolls and cones...

The hardness grade is 200 - 230 HB (hardened 450 HB).

Corthal® 250 K Cored Wires

Is a slag-bearing, austenitic, high manganese and chromium alloyed cored wire electrode. The weld metal is rust resistant, work hardening, amagnetic and has high toughness. The alloy is used on parts subjected to the highest impact wear and pressure, and also for buffer layers before hardfacing. The weld metal is less prone to embrittlement due to low carbide precipitation.

The welding wires are used for rails and switches, rollers, rolls, crusher jaws, buffer layers, caterpillar plates, wheels, running rings of rotary furnaces...

The hardness grade is 220 - 250 HB (hardened 500 HB).
