Procedure
Arc spraying is a powerful wire spraying process for the production of coatings, in which thermal energy is used to melt the coating material.
In this process, an arc is ignited between two wire-shaped spray materials. The wire tips are melted at a temperature of around 4000 °C and blown onto the prepared workpiece surface by means of atomizing gas.
