Corthal® 720 Cored Wires

Corthal® 720 is a highly boron-alloyed flux cored electrode for hardfacing against extreme mineral wear. Due to its special microstructure, the deposited weld metal also has excellent resistance to erosion. Because of its high hardness, however, surfacing should be limited to a maximum of two layers.

The welding wires are used for mixer parts, concrete pumps and screw conveyors.

The hardness grade 64 - 68 HRC.

Corthal® 721 Cored Wires

Is a high C, Cr, Nb and B alloyed flux cored electrode for hardfacing against extreme mineral wear. Furthermore, the weld metal has high erosion and corrosion resistance. Due to the high hardness, the hardfacing should be limited to a maximum of two layers or 6 mm.

The welding wires are used for mixer parts, concrete pumps, screw conveyors, excavator shovels...

The hardness grade is 64 - 68 HRc.

Corthal® 725N Cored Wires

Is a high-alloy iron-based flux cored electrode whose deposited weld metal contains special carbides, which are more finely distributed compared with common hard surfacing, and therefore has increased abrasion and erosion resistance.

The welding wires are used for excavator blades, mixer blades, transport augers, concrete pumps...

The hardness grade is 65 - 70 HRc.

Corthal® 739 Cored Wires

Is a high-alloy iron-based flux cored electrode whose deposited weld metal contains special carbides, which are more finely distributed compared with common hardfacing, and therefore has increased resistance to abrasion and erosion.

The welding wires are used for parts exposed to high abrasion and erosion wear.

The hardness grade is 64 - 68 HRc.
