Corthal® FeV12 Cored Wires

Is an Fe-, V-, Cr-, C- and Mo-alloyed flux cored wire electrode, which deposits a tough-hard, martensitic-austenitic microstructure with finely dispersed vanadium carbides. The alloy is used for hardfacing of machine parts that are subjected to heavy impact stress as well as frictional wear.

The welding wires are used for knives and beaters in recycling plants and knives for the wood, paper. and plastics industries.

The hardness grade is 58 - 60 HRc.

Corthal® 35 Cored Wires

Is a flux cored electrode for build-up welding. The high Cr, B-alloyed weld metal is used where strong corrosive attack in combination with erosive wear is to be expected. The weld metal can still be machined with carbide tools.

The welding wires are used for highly corrosion resistant components and Stellite- replacement alloys .

The hardness grade is 38 - 42 HRc.
